Edgar Allan poe
Birth of modern horror.
Edgar Allan Poe, he created the detective he was influenced by gothic tale and his own experiences like his first wife who was actually his cousin who died and he started seeing someone else and she feel really ill, he also served in the army. One of his most famous pieces is called the raven. He was a manipulative person he but things in a magazine like storeys and made people believe things that weren’t true was true but he didn’t put it under his name he put it in other people’s names. HP Lovecraft was one of the next people who helped in the birth of modern horror who used more shock tactics he used more violent and gory tactics instead of using the same techniques of Edgar Allan Poe.

Utopia
Utopia is an ideal way of life where everything is good, but it means differnt things for differnt people for example for christains utopia is Heaven or Garden of Eden, but another example of Utopia for me would be a place where life is easier than it is now where everyone has a enough money to get by and get what they need and a few things they like and everyone decides what happens.
